As a young girl, my favorite thing to do was go on an “adventure” with my Gram.
We would set out with a final destination in mind - usually a waterfall, wildflower field, the cemetery to water the flowers, a hunt for the red leather wood clogs I just had to have, or the perfect rock out on the Niagara River to watch the sunset. Without fail on our way to one of these places we would pull off and find ourselves in a small town perusing the general store “let’s just take a peek” she would say.
I loved everything about those old stores, the lady who would greet you and offer me candy, the creaking floor, antique furniture, the smell of freshly baked pies, small treasures, and curated clothing but most of all I loved the smile on my Grams face as she took it all in.
My dream has always been to have my own shop -just like the ones from my childhood a place where you would hopefully find a few of the things you need, some things you want, and those things you can’t live without. The goal is to create a space where you can share in that same memory inspired by my childhood adventures as well serving the community with a place full of my favorite finds & discoveries. A place that feels really, really good when you walk into it...and you keep coming back to see what’s new today.
